The cycle life is the number of complete charge/discharge cycles that the battery is able to support before its capacity falls under 80% of its original capacity. That is, battery discharged to 0% then recharged to 100%, is equals to one cycle. If battery is discharged to 60% then recharged to 80, it is not a complete cycle.
